South Shore Furniture will fulfill in cooperation with Health Canada a voluntary recall of the South Shore Summer Breeze 5-drawer chest models: 3746035, 3210035, 3294035 and 3219035. Furniture over the height of 30 inches represents a tip over risk, especially if the anchor kit supplied by the manufacturer is not applied.
Since 2010, all South Shore products over 30 inches are delivered with a tip over restraint that meets the U.S. voluntary industry standard (ASTM F3096-14). However, South Shore feels that it is important to contact you to remind you of the necessity to anchor your furniture.
Rest assured that the safety and well-being of our customers are of the utmost importance to us. We constantly improve our products in order to comply with and surpass the highest safety and quality standards.
