About me

Three things I’m passionate about are photography, design, and DIY. Everything is a source of inspiration for me as I work to create trendy decors and ambiances on a tight budget! Welcome to my world!

Charades or riddles not your thing? Here’s a simple little activity that’s fun for the whole crowd… and it’ll mean so much to the parents-to-be, when everyone leaves a great souvenir for their little one.

Here’s what you need:

  • Mason-type jar
  • Pencils
  • Paper
  • Miniature clothespins
  • Cards and envelopes
  • Cord
  • Small round headed furniture nails
  • Wooden frame

Set up the frame by attaching a few clothespins to each string, then nail it to either edge of the frame using the furniture nails.

On the day of the shower, put several pieces of paper – each one with an age written on it – in the jar. Hold a draw so each guest picks an age and writes a small message that they’ll attach to the frame with a clothespin.

The child gets to read the message when he or she reaches the age shown on the envelope.

You can then put this frame, filled with messages of love, in baby’s room… and keep it there for years!
