CONTEST RULES
"WIN A SOUTH SHORE BEDROOM SET"
1. Participation rules
To participate in the "Win a South Shore Bedroom Set" contest, you must fill in the warranty registration questionnaire on the Internet and then simply click on the "send" button to forward your form by e-mail or fill in the paper warranty card and mail it to South Shore. Only one entry per person, per email address, per purchase will be accepted. Contest ends on December, 8 2006 at midnight EST.
2. Eligibility requirements
The contest is open to South Shore consumers (located in Canada and in the
United States) who bought South Shore furniture, AND registered the product
on the Internet or mailed the paper warranty form to South Shore between
January, 9 2006 and December, 8 2006. The Internet registrations and the
paper forms received between January, 9 2006 and December, 8 2006 will be
eligible for the contest.
Employees of South Shore Industries Ltd. and the agency responsible for
creating this Web site, as well as their immediate family members and/or
persons living in the same household are not eligible to participate in this
contest.
3. Prize award
The draw will be held on December, 15 2006, at 1 p.m. Eastern Standard time, under the watchful eye of 3 employees of South Shore Industries. The winner will be chosen electronically by random selection.
The name of the winner will be sent by email to all participants in the week following the draw. The winner authorises South Shore Industries to use his/her name for commercial purposes.
The grand prize winner will be notified by e-mail by December, 22 2006 at the latest.
3.1 To claim the prize
The prize will be shipped to the winner to one location in North America (Canada or United States). South Shore Industries Ltd. agrees to inform the winner of procedures required to claim the prize.
4. Prize description
The prize offered is a South Shore bedroom set (maximum value of $1,500
retail price in Canadian dollars). Furniture will be selected by the winner
and South Shore among available furniture at South Shore at the time of the
draw.
5. General rules
5.1 To be declared a winner, the participants will have to have correctly completed the entry form.
5.2 In the event that the winner is a minor, he/she will have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian when claiming his/her prize.
5.3 The prize shall be accepted as is and cannot be redeemed for cash or sold or exchanged for other goods. No substitutions will be accepted.
5.4 Refusal to accept the prize releases and forever discharges South Shore Industries Ltd. of all obligations related to the prize.
5.5 In the event that the company is unable to supply the prize as described in these regulations, South Shore Industries Ltd. reserves the right to substitute all or part of the prize for one that is of approximately equivalent value.
5.6 South Shore Industries Ltd. does not assume any responsibility for loss, delays, errors in e-mail addresses received, printing errors, technical, computer or telephone malfunctions, loss or theft of computer or telephone data, computer equipment breakdown or other errors.
5.7 South Shore Industries Ltd. shall assume no liability of any kind whatsoever in any cases in which their inability to act results from an event or situation beyond their control, including notably a strike, lock-out or any other labour dispute in their place of business or the places of business of the organizations or businesses whose services are used to hold this contest.
5.8 Your name, your mailing address, your telephone number, your e-mail address, your age. This information can be used to notify you by e-mail about new products offered by South Shore Industries Ltd. By providing this information, you consent to the use of this information for the purposes indicated. When you receive our mailings, you will always be able to remove your name from the mailing list.
5.9 Contest participants must accept the regulations stipulated herein. All decisions are final.
5.10 The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal legislation. |
